State Group 3. Goalie Laya Mallela made three saves and Moorestown (15-5-1) posted its eighth shutout of the season, stopping South Jersey champ Kingsway, 2-0, in the state semifinals at Eastern.
Kendall Coughlin pushed in the first goal in the final minute of the first half, and Mary Flick set up Jess Dadino for her 16th goal this fall, in the fourth minute of the second half.
The Central Jersey champion Quakers, who had a 14-5 edge in corners over the Dragons (18-5), advance to the state final against defending champion Freehold Borough at noon on Sunday at Toms River East.
State Group 4. Freshman Austyn Cuneo continued her remarkable season, scoring six goals for Eastern in a 13-0 semifinal demolition of visiting Freehold Township.
Cuneo, who has 62 goals in 24 games, was supported by Kasey Morano and Carly Celkos with two goals each. Celkos also assisted on two goals and the Vikings' defense allowed no shots at goalie Alana Barry, who secured her 17th shutout.
Eastern will go for its 13th straight state title against Bridgewater-Raritan, a 4-1 winner over Hunterdon Central, at 2 p.m. Sunday at Toms River East.
State Group 1. Laura Olbrich scored her 14th goal and Ashley Creighton got loose for her 12th while driving South Jersey champ Schalick (17-2-2) to a 2-0 semifinal win over Central Jersey winner Audubon (17-7) at Eastern.
Cougars goalie Giselle Ramos made a dozen saves, and Olbrich assisted Creighton's goal. The shutout was the 10th this season for Schalick, which will play unbeaten Shore Regional (23-0) for the state title at 4 p.m. Sunday at Toms River East. Shore slipped past Mountain Lakes, 3-2, in the other semifinalx.
