5 Minutes With... Hakeem Sillman

George Washington running back Hakeem Sillman has been quite a force for the Eagles' rushing attack this season. The 5-8, 190-pound senior also plays cornerback and has received interest from a number of Division I programs, but for now, he is focused on leading the Eagles into the postseason. This week, we sat down with the bruising tailback.

Q: What kind of back do you consider yourself?

A: "A playmaker. At any given time, I can make a big play, and I'm a leader."

Q: Who's your favorite professional athlete?

A: "Ray Rice. He can be a scat-back at times, going out for routes. He can be the every-down back that they need. He's just an all-around player."

Q: Who's your favorite professional sports team?

A: "The Ravens because they play with aggression. They just play nasty and with a lot of heart."

Q: What's your favorite TV show?

A: "SportsCenter"

Q: What's your favorite kind of food?

A: "Buffalo wings"

Q: Do you have a favorite hobby?

A: "I play games like Xbox and stuff. I play a lot of sports games and sometimes I play 'Call of Duty,' too."

Q: What's your favorite song to warm up to?

A: "It's Meek Millz - 'Ima Boss.' That's an anthem song so it gets me hyped for the game."

Q: What's your favorite sport besides football?

A: "Basketball. I played a lot when I was young, but when I got to high school, I just stuck to football."

Q: Who do you consider your greatest role model?

A: "My grandma because she's a hard worker."

Q: What's the best part of being a high school football player?

A: "Being with my teammates, it's fun. I've been there with them since my sophomore year, just growing up with them."

Q: Where is your team is headed at this point?

A: "I think we could be headed to a big-time place if we just keep our heads together and continue to play as a team."

Q: What's one thing people might not know about you?

A: "I'm very humble."
