Six children and four adults were taken to hospitals after a minor vehicle collision involving a school bus Monday afternoon in the city's Castor Gardens section, authorities said.

The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. at Englewood Street and Summerdale Avenue, authorites said. The school bus, which struck a car, was transporting 15 students from Wilson Middle School, said Deirdre Darragh, a school district spokeswoman.

Six of the students, who had no visible injuries, were taken to Aria Health-Torresdale Campus for evaluation, Darragh said. The other students were being picked up by their parents.

Medic units transported four adults, ages 19 to 35, to hospitals, authorities said. The adults complained of pain and two head cuts on their heads. The cause of accident was under investigation.
