Police have arrested suspects in two separate shooting deaths in Philadelphia over the weekend.

Ryan McManus, 20, of the 2600 block of Sepviva Street in Kensington, is charged with murder in the slaying of Shane Kelly, 27, during an attempted robbery early Sunday in Fishtown.

Police said McManus and another man still sought confronted Kelly and a female companion about 12:30 a.m. on the 1300 block of East Hewson Street.

But as they fled apparently empty handed, one of the robbers fired six times, hitting Kelly in the chest, police said.

Kelly, of the 6300 block of Crafton Street in Mayfair, died at 4:48 a.m. at Temple University Hospital, police.

In the second case, Sidique Mansary, 24, is charged with murder in the shooting Friday night of Titus Lowery, 28, in the second floor hallway of a building on the 900 block of North 43rd Street in West Philadelphia's Mill Creek section, police said.

Lowery, of the 7200 block of Revere Street in the Castor section, was shot in the chest during an argument and died an hour later at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, police said.

Mansary is from the 1200 block of South 55th Street in Southwest Philadelphia's Kingsessing section.

An argument is also believed to be the trigger in the shooting death early Saturday of Aaron Turner, 20, on the 100 block of Fern Street in North Philadelphia's Olney section.

Police found Turner, of Ridley Township, Delaware County, shot in the face and shoulder about 1:50 a.m. and he was pronounced dead at Albert Einstein Medical Center at 2:10 a.m.

Police are still seeking the shooter.
