"It was awesome," said Taylor, who owns Economy Terror with Phoenixville's Edwin Gold and Chuck Pompey of Archbald, Lackawanna County. "She did it easy and she's done everything we could have hoped."
Economy Terror finished the season with eight wins in 11 races and $926,520 in purses.
Buck I St Pat, the three-time defending Trotting Mare of the Year, led the post parade for the $365,000 Goldsmith Maid Stakes for 2-year-old filly trotters and was honored in the winner's circle following the race. She was retired last month at the age of 8 after winning 51 of 106 races and $2.32 million.
Taylor and Gold share ownership with Las Vegas' Abraham Basen and Ohio's Ron Fuller.
"One is going and, hopefully, we have the next world champion for us," Taylor said. "It's been a dream come true and, hopefully, it will continue."
Win Missy B won the Goldsmith Maid by two lengths over Superstar Hanover in a track-record 1:55.1.
In other stakes action, A Rocknroll Dance won the $510,000 Governor's Cup for 2-year-old male pacers by 11/4 lengths over Speed Again in 1:51 and Possess The Will won the $410,000 Valley Victory for 2-year-old male trotters by 33/4 lengths over Highland Yankee in 1:56.
