November 24, 2011|FOR THE INQUIRER

Vince White's third field goal, a 42-yarder that hit the upright and bounced through early in the fourth quarter, enabled Shawnee to hold off host Lenape, 22-19, on Thursday in the neighboring rivals' 41st annual Thanksgiving Day football game.

White's clutch kick with 10 minutes, 26 seconds left in regulation gave the Renegades (7-3) a 10-point lead.

Lenape (4-6) fought back behind Cory Jett's third touchdown pass of the day - a 3-yard lob to Arkemus Baskerville with 6:06 to go. A goal-line stand gave the Indians the ball back at their own 1-yard line with 1:54 left, but the clock ran out on the ensuing drive before Lenape could move into scoring position.
