A West Philadelphia woman who allegedly ran over her boyfriend after lovers' quarrel has been charged with murder, police said.

Keisha Jones, 30, was arrested early Sunday morning after police found her standing next to her dead boyfriend, Tyrone Taylor, 29, on the 2400 block of Morris Street.

Jones told police that she had been fighting with Taylor inside his 2002 Acura, when Taylor stopped the car, got out, and walked away. Jones jumped into the driver's seat, drove the car over a sidewalk, and allegedly plowed into Taylor.

Taylor, of the 5300 block of Kershaw Street, was pronounced dead at the scene. Jones, who had lived with Taylor, was also charged with involuntary manslaughter, homicide by vehicle and related offenses.
