BOYS' SOCCER

Team   Record

Final, 2011.

 1. Cherokee    25-0-2

A Coaches Tournament championship and second consecutive state Group 4 title were highlights for a Cherokee team ranked No. 1 from start to finish.

Story continues below.

2. Timber Creek    19-4-3

Timber Creek won its first South Jersey Group 3 title and fielded perhaps the most talented roster the team has had.

3. Haddonfield    19-2-1

Haddonfield earned a tough 1-0 win over Haddon Heights in the South Jersey Group 2 championship game. The Bulldogs allowed just 16 goals all season.

4. Haddon Township    22-3-1

Haddon Township rolled to the program's first Group 1 state championship.

5. Shawnee    15-6-1

The season did not live up to Shawnee's lofty expectations, but the Renegades had plenty of highlights this season before falling in penalty kicks to Toms River East in the sectional Group 4 quarterfinals.

6. Holy Cross    16-3-2

The Lancers failed to win a postseason game, falling in double overtime to St. John Vianney, but nonetheless proved to be one of the area's strongest teams on both ends of the field.

7. Seneca    13-9

After an up-and-down regular season, Seneca made a nice postseason run before falling to Timber Creek in the South Jersey Group 3 final.

8. Williamstown    15-6

Consistent defense - the team did not allow more than two goals in any game - carried Williamstown this season.

9. Clearview    14-6-1

Defense and timely scoring spurred Clearview before the team fell in penalty kicks to Toms River East in the South Jersey Group 4 semifinals.

10. St. Augustine    12-7-2

The Hermits were a young team that played its best soccer down the stretch. They went 7-2-2 over their final 11 games, including a strong run in the South Jersey Non-Public A tournament.
