U. Darby police end probe into death of man

Posted: December 16, 2011

Four months after his body was found, clad in a scuba suit, in the corner of his attic, Upper Darby police have ended their investigation into the death of engineer Peter Stelzenmuller, 49.

Toxicology reports showed no evidence of crime, and the death evidently was the result of "autoerotic" activity, Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael J. Chitwood said Thursday.

On the night of Aug. 18, Stelzenmuller's girlfriend, Edythe Maa, a self-described "fetish model" named "Jade Vixen," called police to the victim's house in the 2500 block of Hillcrest Road after finding the body, which showed no bruises or injuries. - Anthony R. Wood
