Collingswood Hall of Fame class announced

Sixteen individuals and five teams will be inducted into the Collingswood High School Athletic Hall of Fame at its 22d annual banquet on March 3 at the Crowne Plaza in Cherry Hill.

The individuals to be inducted include Carlton Ayers (Class of 1956), Dave Kennedy (1960), Ed Landis (1964), Bob Young (1965), Dave Landis (1968), Bob Hunt (1972), and Kevin Hilyard (1973).

Also, Joann Weber (1977), Pete Ferrera (1979), Nancy Campbell Watson (1985), Jack McConnell (1988), Dan Aydelotte (1989), and Michelle Minerva (1989).

Kenneth Landis (1961) will be inducted for meritorious service and Wendy Williamson (1989) for community service.

"Enos" Sam Young will be inducted as a coach.

The teams to be inducted include the 1961, 1962, and 1963 wrestling teams as well as the 1964 baseball team and the 1965 football team.
