Video: Brawl ends with mummers, viewers crashing barricade

A video captured a melee after the 2012 Mummers Parade New Year's Day that ended with a mummer scuffling with a paradegoer and causing a metal barricade to crash down.

The video was uploaded anonymously yesterday to YouTube from an Android-powered smart phone, and supplied no information other than was shown.

The video shows a crowd of hundreds gathered at Second Street and Pierce Avenue in South Philadelphia as some type of disturbance begins to draw attention.

A few mummers dressed in pink as wenches enter the fray and people start shoving each other.

One of the wenches makes his way to confront a paradegoer in the crowd gathered on the sidewalk.

The paradegoer then jumps the barricade, which comes crashing down and the crowd spills into the street.

There was no word on if police made any arrests.
