Saying it was an unprecedented deal, Comcast Corp. has reached a 10-year distribution agreement with the Walt Disney Co. that guarantees Comcast subscribers will see ESPN and about 70 other Disney products without interruption on their TV, tablets and other devices.
Financial details were not released. The two companies had a distribution contract that was to expire in late 2012.
The new contract is unprecedented for its duration and because it encompasses all of Disney's entertainment and news programs and includes devices other than TVs.
