'Drugs' do Fallon
Local rockers The War on Drugs perform on tonight's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."
The band's recent album, "Slave Ambient," made many rock critics' best-of lists last year.
OUT AND ABOUT
* Sixers guard Evan Turner has
made part of his pregame ritual a chicken steak with fried onions from Talk of the Town (3020 S. Broad). He stopped there before Friday's game and before and after Saturday's game.
* NHL Hall of Famer Ray Bourque stopped by Ralph's (760 S. 9th) for dinner Friday along with his wife and daughter-in-law. The former Bruins defenseman's son Chris scored a goal for the Hershey Bears in Friday's AHL Winter Classic against the Adirondack Phantoms.
* Matt Suhey, who played fullback for the 1985 Super Bowl champion Chicago Bears, and family dined Saturday at Scannicchio's (Broad & Porter). Suhey's son Joe plays fullback at Penn State, where Matt also played.
'Dog' days
Wired 96.5's Chio and Shila host Saturday's 18th-annual Hair O' the Dog gala, taking place this year at the Westin.
A portion of proceeds from the gala, produced by Rob Molinaro and Dan Cronin of Chorus Communications, benefits the The Garden of Reflection, Pennsylvania's official 9/11 memorial, and Friends Are By Your Side, founded by stylist Martino Cartier to help women battling cancer feel beautiful.
This year's Queen O' the Dog recipient of a day of beauty treatments is Christine Jock, who had a double mastectomy because of breast cancer and later developed melanoma.
The Drop Dead Sexy Band, DJ Johnny Looch, DJ Licious, Adrian Hardy and Manny Romano are musical entertainment. The event starts at 8 p.m. and has after-parties at G (111 S. 17th) and Whisper (15th & Sansom). For tickets and info, visit hairothedog.com.
