THE US Lacrosse National Convention, featuring the US Lacrosse Fan Fest, will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center Friday through Sunday.

The Fan Fest, open to the public Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., will feature demonstrations by players from the U.S. national teams and the Wings, and an appearance by actor Brandon Routh, star of the upcoming "Crooked Arrows" lacrosse feature film. Autographs will be available. There also will be vendors with lacrosse gear, equipment, apparel and services. Fan Fest tickets are $10 at the door, and $5 for players wearing lacrosse jerseys.

The annual convention is the largest professional development and networking event in the lacrosse world for coaches, officials and administrators at all levels of play. Registration at the convention center will be available for $150.

Former Eagle Herm Edwards will be the keynote speaker and four-time Super Bowl referee Jerry Markbreit will address officials.
