SallyAnn filling in
SallyAnn Mosey, who just left Fox 29 as a full-time meteorologist, is back on a fill-in basis while the station finds a replacement for John Bolaris. As we reported Tuesday afternoon on PhillyGossip.com and in yesterday's Daily News, Bolaris and the station said they had mutually parted ways. Mosey may pick up Bolaris' forecast duties until a permanent replacement is named, but despite readers' telling us they hope Mosey returns full time, we're told that is neither her plan nor that of the station.
No 'Tebowing' love
With her beloved Detroit Lions out of the NFL playoffs, entertainer Sandra Bernhard says she is rooting for the Giants and Packers, but really "Anybody but the Broncos." Why? Because she hates Tim Tebow and his politics ever since the devout Christian QB appeared with his mother in a pro-life ad during the Super Bowl two years ago. The actress/comedian told us at a Tuesday-night cocktail reception at Hotel Palomar (17th & Sansom) that Philadelphia has been great to her since she started performing here in the late 1970s. Through Saturday, Bernhard performs "I Love Being Me, Don't You?" at the Painted Bride (230 Vine).
'Mob Wives' at Home
With their proclivity for fighting, we're not sure who would welcome the "Mob Wives" into their home, but Karen Gravano and Renee Graziano of the VH1 series will sign autographs and take pictures in the Comcast Xfinity booth at the Philadelphia Home Show from 6 to 8 p.m. on Jan. 19.
More dancing
Yesterday we told you that "Dancin' on Air" would soon return to Channel 17 with new kids and with new episodes on Saturday mornings, and we've since learned that former "Dancin' on Air" regular Kerri Gallagher is producing two dance shows of her own.
