Tues. S.J. girls' roundup: Glassboro gets past Schalick

Rebecca Donnelly and Beth Shivers combined for 32 points, including 11 in overtime, as Glassboro outlasted host Schalick, 55-53, on Tuesday in Tri-County Conference girls' basketball.

Giselle Ramos (15 points), Joyce Perry (13), and Ciera Ismail (10) supplied the bulk of the Cougars' offense.

In other Tri-County Conference action:

Tori Smick scored 18 of her 32 points in the second half, sending Woodstown to a 62-45 win at Wildwood. Jessica Freeman countered with 23 points for the Warriors.

Kaileen Banks tossed in 16 points, including her fourth three-pointer, to put Pitman ahead with a little less than a minute to go, and Karlie Crispin (14 points) added a pair of late free throws to cement Pitman's 53-50 triumph over visiting Highland.

Madison McClintock's two foul shots with 11 seconds left clinched Gloucester's 39-35 win at Clearview.

Olympic. Kendyl Williams scored half of her 12 points after regulation ended, leading host Cherry Hill West to a 43-39 double-overtime win over Pennsauken.

Sophomore point guard Amanda Riiff scored 14 of her career-high 27 points in a 22-5 game-opening blitz, putting host Timber Creek on track for a 60-40 victory over Triton. The Mustangs' Deja Bullock scored 20.

Olivia Askin picked up 10 of her 20 points in a 22-11 third-quarter run, helping host Shawnee put away Winslow Township, 73-57. Sage Bennett's 18 points paced the Eagles.

Jackie Brown (23 points) made five of her team's 10 three-point baskets, and Alyssa Cirrucci (17 points) and Taylor Hudspeth (13) also provided double-figure scoring as host Bishop Eustace battled past Paul VI, 55-45.

The tandem of Brittany Snow and Taylor Watson accounted for half of Seneca's scoring in a 64-39 victory at Camden. Lynette Payton led the Panthers in the lowpost with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Colonial. Danesha Triplett totaled 19 points and 19 rebounds, and Zeanna Brackett filled the stat sheet with 13 points, four rebounds, four assists, three steals, and two blocked shots as host Woodbury slipped past Paulsboro, 45-41.

Erica Hoffman (15 points) provided perimeter scoring and Sterling converted 7 of 8 from the foul line in the fourth quarter, sealing the Silver Knights' 47-35 win at Collingswood.

Alayxiah Carr of Haddon Township and Gateway's Alisha Fox shared scoring honors with 21 points apiece, but Carr and the Hawks came away with a 68-38 road win.

Burlington County. Lauren Moses got off to a strong start, scoring 11 of her 17 points in the first half, as host Rancocas Valley mauled Moorestown, 62-26.

Cape-Atlantic. Senior forward Gina Lewis dominated the paint to the tune of 15 points, 17 rebounds, and seven blocked shots, and sophomore guard Sarah Shields added a career-high 13 points in powering host Holy Spirit past Bridgeton, 61-41.

Sahara Lopez dealt four assists to go with her game-high 17 points as host Atlantic City buried Buena, 59-38.

Friends Schools. Lauren Lowe's lone point of the game - a free throw with 11 seconds left in the fourth quarter - iced Moorestown Friends' 33-29 home win over George School.
