A Ukrainian hockey coach was arrested Tuesday on charges he transported two underage boys from Delaware to Philadelphia earlier this month to engage in illicit sexual conduct.
Ivan Pravilov, 48, who operates youth ice hockey camps in the northeastern United States, is in federal custody awaiting a detention hearing Friday afternoon.
The camps frequently host children from Ukraine, who are housed with various host families and Pravilov, court papers said.
An arrest affidavit said Pravilov transported the boys, both 14, to an ice rink on Old York Road on Jan. 2 and later to an apartment in Mount Airy, where he touched them inappropriately.
