Central Bucks West has named Meg Hutchinson field hockey coach, replacing co-coaches Alison Stone and Kit Sinnamon, who stepped down after last season.

Hutchinson has coached high school field hockey for more than two decades. Most recently, she led Central Bucks South to the Suburban One League Continental Conference title in 2008, and shared The Inquirer's Coach of the Year honor with Merion Mercy's Jen Campbell.

Hutchinson joined the C.B. South staff in 2005, and took a sabbatical after the '08 season.

Story continues below.

Hutchinson had begun her coaching career by guiding Gwynedd-Mercy Academy from 1990-97 before coaching at North Penn from 1997-2004.
