A pen, ink, and wash drawing done in 1903 by N.C. Wyeth's mentor, Howard Pyle, and titled Y Pirate Bold, as imagined by a Quaker Gentleman in the / Farm Lands of Pennsylvania has a presale estimate of $5,000 to $8,000. (It comes framed, with a manuscript letter by another of Pyle's students, Thornton Oakley.)

And a charcoal drawing on paper, a study N.C. Wyeth did in the 1920s for a depiction of Lincoln's second inaugural, has a presale estimate of $8,000 to $12,000.
