Scott Paterno said numerous media outlets have expressed an interest in selling copies of the memorial service that drew about 12,000 people to the Bryce Jordan Center last week.
"Candidly, this is a development we had not anticipated; but we are moving to address it quickly now," he said.
Paterno died Jan. 22 from lung cancer.
Penn State adds to staff
Penn State has added Jim Bernhardt as special assistant to the head coach and director of player development and Craig Fitzgerald as director of strength and conditioning for football.
Bernhardt was defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Brown University from 1990 to '92 and worked with new Penn State coach Bill O'Brien, who was a linebacker and defensive end for the Bears. Bernhardt was Brown's offensive coordinator and offensive line coach in 1993.
He has an extensive background as a high school and college coach, including a high school head coach at Bishop Moore, Seminole and Dr. Phillips in central Florida, and Long Beach (N.Y.) High. He also served in various roles at Central Florida.
Fitzgerald comes to Penn State after 3 years as director of football strength and conditioning at South Carolina. He worked with O'Brien at Maryland in 2003 and '04 when O'Brien was the Terps' running backs coach.
He is also a graduate of LaSalle High, along with defensive backs coach John Butler. Butler and Fitzgerald later worked together at Harvard.
