Cops and the FBI are looking for help to track down a man who they say robbed a Chestnut Hill bank late yesterday morning and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police said the man gave a teller a threatening demand note about 11:30 a.m. at National Penn Bank. After getting the money, the man fled east on Evergreen Avenue toward Ardleigh Street. Authorities said he was black, in his late 20s or early 30s, 5 feet 7 with a dark complexion. He wore a royal-blue hooded sweatshirt, gray gloves, gray sweatpants and oversize brown sunglasses, and is considered armed and dangerous.

Attempted-murder charges have been filed against three adults and a teenager accused in the beating and stabbing of a cab driver in Mount Laurel, N.J..

The suspects also face charges of robbery and carjacking stemming from the attack early yesterday

Burlington County prosecutors said that the 20-year-old driver was cut across the neck during the robbery. He then fled the cab and ran to a nearby home.

The driver later was flown to a hospital, where he underwent surgery. He was listed in critical condition last night.

Bail was set at $300,000 each for Breanna Pimienta, 18, and Miguel Mercado, 21, both of Cherry Hill; Mahadi Robinson, 21, of Maple Shade; and a 17-year-old boy whose name was not disclosed.

Cops: Rapist threw his victim

A 20-year-old Wilmington man faces attempted-murder charges after raping a 17-year-old girl during a house party on Academy Street near Delaware Avenue, then throwing her out a window, authorities said.

The teen was alone in a locked bedroom in the house early Sunday when John Nelson kicked in the door, cops said. The girl tried to flee, but Nelson choked her into unconsciousness, sexually assaulted her and threw her out the window, cops said.

Officers clearing out the party crowd heard screams for help and found the teen on the ground.

Nelson is charged with attempted murder, rape, assault and other offenses. He's being held on $286,600 bond.

The teen had surgery for injuries including a broken arm and a punctured lung.

Cameras catch subway robbery

Surveillance cameras inside a South Philly SEPTA subway stop recorded footage of a man now wanted for an assault and robbery inside that station Sunday morning.

Police posted the footage online, and are asking for help from the public to find the suspect.

The man walked into a concourse leading to the Snyder Avenue subway platform about 9:15 a.m. Police said he punched a man in the face, snatched his wallet - which contained lottery tickets - and ran from the station.

The assailant was described as black, in his 20s, with facial hair, about 5 feet 7, between 170 and 180 pounds. He wore a maroon-and-blue-checkered hoodie, a black North Face vest and dark-blue jeans.
