LeBron James' bike ride to work before the Miami Heat played the Chicago Bulls on Sunday was caught by some photographers, and suddenly became quite a talking point.

James says he doesn't understand all the fuss, especially since he chooses pedal-power over horse-power on a fairly regular basis.

The Heat star has long been a fan of cycling, and has hosted several offseason bike rides to draw attention to charitable causes in his hometown (Akron, Ohio) during his NBA career.

Miami coasts

Obviously, riding his bicycle doesn't hamper James on the court, as he had 22 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists in a 109-95 win over the visiting New Orleans Hornets, who'll be in the Wells Fargo Center on Friday to meet the 76ers.

Meanwhile, the Hornets only managed 25 rebounds - the lowest total in the NBA this season.

Rose on fire

Derrick Rose was 10 for 20 from the floor and scored a season-high 35 points as Chicago topped Washington, 98-88. One day after a four-point loss in Miami, the Bulls rebounded to improve their Eastern Conference-leading record to 18-5. They will be in the Wells Fargo Center on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the miserable Wizards have lost 16 of 20.
