Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow - or rather the Inner Circle saw it - predicting six more weeks of winter.

Legend has it that if Phil sees his shadow, winter will hang around for another six weeks. If not, spring is on its way.
As for other predictions, the National Weather Service forecasts that temperatures for February will average slightly above normal, with normal precipitation.
Through early next week, temperatures are expected to barely drop to freezing during any of the nights.
The immediate forecast calls for a slight chance of rain this morning, giving way to partly sunny skies and a high of about 52.
Cooler weather returns with a low of 30 overnight, and a high of 47 on Friday.
