  • Sandya is 17 and hopes to attend college.

Her appearance is very important to Sandya. This 17-year-old delights in experimenting with makeup and in showing off her stylish side through her clothes and hairstyles. She is especially fond of wearing her hair in braids. Other interests include reading and eating Jamaican food. Athletic and social, Sandya plays the violin in the school band, runs track, and likes basketball. She hopes to go to college.

Sandya has great potential to be successful and reach her goals. However, she cannot achieve them alone. She needs the freedom to grow, to give and receive love, and to feel she belongs.

Sandya needs a family that is patient and encouraging, to help her focus on her schoolwork and allow her to hone her creative skills. With the guidance of a loving and stable family, Sandya's future is boundless. It would be best if she is the only child in the family, so she would be the center of their attention. The family could be two parents or just a mom. She loves animals and it would be great if the household included a pet.
