Boys' Basketball
Rancocas Valley pulled off a 58-56 nonleague upset of visiting Holy Spirit, ranked No. 6 in South Jersey by The Inquirer. Tariq Jett led the Red Devils, who rallied from a 34-27 halftime deficit, with 19 points and Ben Hills added 18.
Kali Boyce sparked a comeback from a 30-29 halftime deficit as Williamstown edged host Winslow Township, 54-50. Boyce saved 16 of his 25 points for the second half, including all of the Braves' 10 in the final period.
Tri-County. Kingsway outscored visiting Deptford by 15-10 in overtime to take a 60-55 triumph. Brad Fagan, who collected 16 points and 13 rebounds, scored eight in the extra period.
Ge'Shawn Davis scored 11 of his 18 points in a 30-18 first half that guided Penns Grove past host Highland, 52-45.
Girls' Basketball
West Deptford opened the tournament with a 45-43 thriller over visiting Woodstown. Down by a point with 20 seconds left, the Eagles' Megan Kirschling got a steal and a layup with 15 seconds to go for a 44-43 lead, and Megan Knoblock added a final foul shot.
