February 10, 2012|Staff Report

A search is still under way for a heavily tattooed 22-year-old man who escaped from police wearing handcuffs after his arrest on drug charges on Thursday.

Police are looking for Randall Stiles, who is 6-feet, 3-inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and has a sparse beard and mustache.

He also has multiple tattoos on his face and arms, including a capital "H" between his eyebrows and the number "56" over his left eye.

In an effort to find Stiles, police today released a mug shot taken before he tattooed his face.

Police said officers executing a search warrant in West Philadelphia arrested Stiles on drug charges Thursday.

During the arrest, Stiles, of the 100 block of North Lindenwood Street, suffered a scrape on his arm while struggling with an officer.

Police then took Stiles to Pennsylvania Hospital in Center City, where he was treated and released.

While being escorted back to a police vehicle for the trip to Police Headquarters, Stiles knocked an officer to the ground and fled on foot, police said.

He was last seen on the 400 block of South Jessup Street, near Lombard Street, wearing a black sweater, black jeans, and what police said were black UGG boots.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Stiles, is asked to the Southwest Detective Division at 215-686-3183.
