Three tied for top at Pebble Beach

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. - Dustin Johnson pitched in for eagle on the third hole at Pebble Beach and wound up with a 9-under 63, part of a three-way tie atop the leader board in the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

Charlie Wi made par on his last three holes for a 9-under 61 at Monterey Peninsula, and former U.S. Amateur champion Danny Lee had a 9-under 63 at Pebble Beach.

Tiger Woods made a solid start to his PGA Tour season at Spyglass Hill. He made six birdies in a round of 4-under 68, leaving him in a tie for 15th after the opening round.

LPGA Tour

MELBOURNE, Australia - American Stacy Lewis and Australia's Sarah Kemp shared the Women's Australian Open lead at 4-under 69, leaving top-ranked Yani Tseng a stroke back in her bid to win the event for the third straight year.

Lewis, the Kraft Nabisco winner last year, had six birdies and two bogeys in the LPGA Tour opener at historic Royal Melbourne. Kemp had a bogey-free round.

 

PGA European Tour

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates - Spain's Rafael Cabrera-Bello birdied nine of the first 11 holes and finished with a 9-under 63 to take a 2-stroke lead in the Dubai Desert Classic.
