Delle Donne leads Hens

ELENA DELLE DONNE, the leading scorer in Division I, had 31 points in 25 minutes and No. 12 Delaware (21-1, 12-0 Colonial) won at Georgia State (7-17, 1-12), 94-56, yesterday for its 12th consecutive victory.

Lauren Carra added 19 points for the Blue Hens, and Danielle Parker had 11 points, eight rebounds, six assists and six steals. Delaware shot 55 percent from the field.

Delle Donne, averaging 28 points, was 10-for-16 from the floor, hitting both of her three-point attempts, and 9-for-10 from the foul line. She also had eight rebounds.

At Saint Joseph's, Michelle Baker's season-high 21 points led the Hawks (16-8, 6-4 A-10) to a 69-50 rout of Saint Louis (8-17, 2-8). Ashley Prim had 11 points and six assists and Kelly Cavallo 10 points and nine rebounds.

The Hawks opened a quick 8-0 lead and never looked back, leading, 38-16, at halftime.

Desirae Morgan led the Billikens with 14 points.

* At William & Mary, Kamile Nacickaite scored 24 points and Tyler Hale 18 as the Dragons (12-11, 8-5 CAA) had their largest offensive output of the season in a 78-59 win over the Tribe (9-15, 2-11).

The victory was Denise Dillon's 144th as Drexel coach, tieing her with Lil Haas for the school record.
