LA SALLE'S TOM Coyle outran Cardinal O'Hara's Dan Savage to the finish line in the 3,000 meters and set a meet record of 8:55.55 in the Catholic League Indoor Track championships yesterday at Lehigh University.
Coyle also won the mile in 4:21.98, O'Hara's Shacor Hamilton set a meet record of 22.45 in the 200 dash, and Father Judge's John Landis posted a meet-record triple jump of 47-1 1/4.
In the girls' meet, St. Hubert distance runner Teresa Ortiz won the mile and 3,000, and Archbishop Ryan's Deirdre O'Leary doubled in the 60 hurdles and pole vault.
