College Basketball: W.Va. women shock No. 2 Notre Dame

Brooke Hampton made two free throws with 4.6 seconds remaining, Natalie Novosel missed a 15-foot jumper at the buzzer, and West Virginia beat second-ranked Notre Dame, 65-63, in South Bend, Ind., on Sunday, snapping the Irish's 21-game winning streak.

Asya Bussie had 22 points, including a turnaround jumper with 39 seconds to go that tied the game at 63 for the Mountaineers (18-6, 8-3 Big East).

Skyler Diggins had 32 points for the Irish (24-2, 11-1).

Delaware 94, Georgia State 56 - Elena Delle Donne poured in 31 points in 25 minutes as the No. 12 Blue Hens (21-1, 12-0 Colonial Athletic Conference), topping the Panthers (7-17, 1-12) in Atlanta for their 12th consecutive victory.

Penn State 77, Northwestern 63 - Alex Bentley scored 18 points as the No. 18 Lions (20-5, 11-2 Big Ten) topped the Wildcats (13-12, 3-9) in Evanston, Ill.

St. Joseph's 69, St. Louis 50 - Michelle Baker scored 21 points to lead the host Hawks (16-8, 6-4 Atlantic Ten), past the Billikens (8-17, 2-8) at Hagan Arena.

Drexel 78, William and Mary 59 - Kamile Nacickaite had 24 points as the Dragons (12-11, 8-5 CAA) thrashed the Tribe (9-15, 2-11) in Williamsburg, Va.

St. John's 61, No. 17 Rutgers 52 - Nadirah McKenith had 18 points as the Red Storm (17-8, 9-3 Big East) dropped the No. 17 Scarlet Knights (17-7, 6-5) in Piscataway, N.J.

Stanford 82, UCLA 59 - Nnemkadi Ogwumike had 25 points and the No. 4 Cardinal (22-1, 13-0 Pac-12) got their 19th straight win, beating the Bruins (12-12, 7-6) in Palo Alto, Calif.

Men

Georgetown 71, St. John's 61 - D'Angelo Harrison scored 24 points, and Moe Harkless had 20, but the Red Storm (10-15, 4-9 Big East) fell to the No. 12 Hoyas in Washington.

Michigan 70, Illinois 61 - Tim Hardaway Jr. had 15 points as the No. 22 Wolverines (19-7, 9-4 Big Ten) beat the Illini (16-9, 5-7) in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Seton Hall 73, Pittsburgh 66 - Herb Pope scored 19 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Pirates (17-8, 6-7 Big East) over the Panthers (15-11, 4-9) in Newark, N.J.

Hartford 62, Binghamton 60 - In West Hartford, Conn., Andres Torres scored 17 points, including two free throws with eight seconds left, as the Hawks (6-19, 6-7 America East) kept Mark Macon's Bearcats (0-24, 0-12) the only Division I team without a win this season.
