Woman, 81, struck by SEPTA bus in N.E. Phila.

An 81-year-old woman was critically injured Tuesday afternoon when a SEPTA bus struck her on Bustleton Avenue near Devereaux Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia, police said. The woman was struck by a Route 58 bus about 3:45 p.m. and was taken to Aria Health-Frankford Campus, a SEPTA spokeswoman said. Authorities said the woman suffered injuries to her right leg and arms. She was listed in critical condition Tuesday night. - Staff report
