Chadds Ford gun range is site of 2nd suicide in 6 months

An Upper Darby man shot himself in the head at a Delaware County shooting range on Valentine's Day, authorities said, the second suicide there in six months.

According to the Delaware County Office of the Medical Examiner, Isaiah James Jones, 25, shot himself in the bathroom of the Targetmaster Indoor Gun Range in Chadds Ford around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pennsylvania State Police had not released any information on the incident as of last night.

On Aug. 22, police said, a 22-year-old West Chester man killed himself at the gun range.

A member of Jones' family declined to comment yesterday when reached by the Daily News. A man who answered the phone at Targetmaster yesterday also declined to comment.
