Comedy Central faux pundit Stephen Colbert, 47, has suspended his show while he cares for his ailing 91-year-old mom, Lorna, at her home in Charleston, S.C., the New York Post reports. The youngest of 11 children, Colbert lost his father and two brothers in a plane crash when he was 10.
Comedy Central says the show is suspended due to "unforeseen circumstances." Word is he could return as early as Monday.
