NBC NEWS Foreign Correspondent Michelle Kosinski and area businessman Carlos Hoz de Vina have recently split.

We told you in July that the Cinnaminson native Kosinski, and the auto mogul had been dating for about a year.

Kosinski, recently in town with friends at Rouge (205 S. 18th), splits her time between London, Miami and New York.

We hear she's now seeing a man in Europe where a friend of hers says men "Make a thousand times more effort than Americans." Hmmm.

OUT AND ABOUT

* That was Cameron Diaz strolling through the lobby of the Ritz-Carlton Saturday night.

* "30 Rock" actor Judah Friedlander (the guy who wears the ironic trucker hats that stopped being funny about five years ago) did a surprise set at Helium Comedy Club (2031 Sansom) Saturday where his friend Ted Alexandro was the headliner.

Story continues below.

* Tennis great Martina Navrotilova was among a party of five Saturday at Davio's (111 S. 17th) where she had cheesesteak spring rolls, calamari and bronzino and an expensive red wine.

Cigar bar close & open

Center City cigar lounge Mahogany on Walnut (1524 Walnut) is closing on Feb. 29. Owner Tom Piazza, who opened the bar in 1997 says he's been operating without a lease since August and that Holt's Cigar Company, the store downstairs, doesn't want to renew it.

Why? Because Holt's is renovating the building and planning to open its own Ashton Cigar Bar, named after the popular cigar brand it owns, says Holt's president Robert Levin. Levin says that after Mahogany closes, the space will be renovated and will reopen in 5 or 6 months.

Piazza plans to open a new Mahogany location "Within a four block radius" of the old spot, he told us Thursday.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, who came in while governor of California, is one of many famous faces who have enjoyed a smoke at the old-fashioned lounge which Piazza says attracted "Some of the most unbelievably loyal patrons."

New face at CBS 3

Diana Rocco starts tomorrow at CBS 3 and CW Philly 57 as a general assignment reporter.

The New Jersey native last worked in Boston, and previously in Hartford and New York, and started her career in 2002 at News 12 The Bronx.
