Pacers win in OT

Roy Hibbert had a career-high 30 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 117-108 overtime win over the visiting New Orleans Hornets. With the score knotted at 100 at the end of regulation, the Pacers went on a 10-0 run in overtime to overwhelm the pesky Hornets.

Oden out one more year

Portland Trail Blazers center Greg Oden has suffered yet another setback with his troublesome knees, and his season is over.

Oden was undergoing a minor procedure on Monday in Vail, Colo., to clear out debris in his left knee when the surgeon determined there was additional damage and performed microfracture surgery, the team said.

The former Ohio State star, who was the top pick in the 2007 NBA draft, has now had two microfracture surgeries on his left knee, one on his right knee, and surgery for a fractured left kneecap.

He has not played since Dec. 5, 2009, and has appeared in a total of 82 games for the Blazers, averaging 9.4 points and 7.3 rebounds.

Oden was a restricted free agent heading into this season. He will become an unrestricted free agent after this season.
