Police are searching for a 25-year-old man wanted for shooting another man in the neck outside a South Philadelphia strip club early Thursday.

Kyle Carter, who has possible addresses in 600 block of Rosalie Street in Crescentville and 7300 block of Sommers Road in West Oak Lane, was identified by police as the alleged gunman outside Club Onyx at 2908 S. Christopher Columbus Blvd.

At 2:11 a.m., Carter was involved in a large argument outside the club when he pulled a gun and shot a 26-year-old man in the neck, police said.

The victim was transported to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

Carter fled the scene in a large white or silver SUV, police said.

Anyone with information on his location can call the South Detective Division at 215-686-3013 or 215-686-TIPS (8477).

Club Onyx bills itself as "the city's largest premiere urban gentlemen's club" with 25,000 square feet of space, including, "two stages, a celebrity room, sports bar and an ultra exclusive VIP room."

The club is just south of the Walt Whitman Bridge.
