Sideshow: Somerdale senior gets one sweet invitation

Nice! Somerdale high school guy Kevin McGuire is being treated for leukemia, and his sister Tori has been trying to get Taylor Swift to be his date to the Sterling High School senior prom. Well, Friday, Taylor posted the following on her Facebook page: "Kevin, I'm so sorry but I won't be able to make it to your prom. But I was wondering, the ACM [Academy of Country Music] Awards are coming up. Would you be my date? Love, Taylor." What do you think he'll say?

Milanov has full card

Rossen Milanov, the Philadelphia Orchestra's former associate conductor, has added a new orchestra to his schedule and stepped up his commitment to another. He was just appointed music director of Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias in Oviedo, Spain, a five-year contract that begins in the fall. He also renewed his Princeton Symphony contract through 2017-18. How many orchestras does that make? In an e-mail, he said, "I'm down to 3.5": Symphony in C in Camden; Princeton; Asturias; and (the 0.5) his conductor laureate gig for the New Symphony Orchestra in his native Bulgaria. Of Oviedo, he said, "I'll be very happy to have an important orchestra in Europe."

Biel/Timberlake preps

After five years of sporadic couplehood, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, betrothed since December, will saunter down the aisle later this year, reports Us Weekly. "The big day's this summer at a private estate," an Insider tells the mag. "Monique Lhuillier is her No. 1 choice for the dress." Biel flashed her engagement ring for Amy Poehler and Kristen Wiig at a Saturday Night Live party on Feb. 18.

Love beyond the grave

Impossibly beautiful Padma Lakshmi (Top Chef) has a daughter, Krishna, 2, whose dad is Adam Dell. Billionaire Teddy Forstmann, once a Padma dater (in fact, Dell/Lakshmi custody docs reveal she was hoping Teddy was the dad), died in November, and he left a big trust fund for Krishna.
