We Advance, based in the slums of Citi Soleil and Wharf Jeremie, Haiti, works to provide medical attention, education and advocacy programs there.
"Diva of Haiti" Barbara Guillaume, co-founder of We Advance, will perform at the party with Bello, whose NBC cop-drama "Prime Suspect" was recently canceled. Over the weekend, tattoo artist Shane O'Neill celebrated his win last week as Spike TV's "Ink Master," with his wife, Jen, and some friends in Atlantic City. The gang caught the Dub Step Awards at House of Blues at Showboat and also had drinks at the Foundation Room.
Menswear designer John Varvatos, who can be seen at 9:30 tonight as a mentor on NBC's "Fashion Star," will receive Philadelphia University's 2012 Spirit of Design Award at the school's fashion show April 28 at the Academy of Music. (See Ellen Gray on "Fashion Star")
