About Butler: The Bulldogs (21-14) advanced with a 75-58 win over Delaware. The two-time NCAA runners-up are in postseason play for the 14th time in 16 years. . . . They are playing at the Palestra for the first time, and have not played in Philadelphia since a win over La Salle in 1994. . . . Butler has won 20 games for the seventh consecutive season, matching its own Horizon League mark. . . . Chrishawn Hopkins scored 19 points against Delaware. . . . Ronald Nored had three assists to push his single-season school record to 183. He enters the game three short of the school record for career steals (204) and will set the record for career games played. . . . Nored also was named the Horizon League defensive player of the year for the second time in his career. . . . Butler is 18-4 in March under coach Brad Stevens.

About Penn: The Quakers (20-12) advanced with a 74-63 win over Quinnipiac. They have won eight of nine, and nine of 11. . . . Penn reached 20 wins for the first time since the 2006-07 season. . . . Zack Rosen scored 16 points against Quinnipiac, his 16th consecutive game and 30th time this season in double figures. He has the single-season record for minutes and assists, and will set the record for starts on Monday. . . . Penn played the first-round game without Tyler Bernardini and Mike Howlett, who did not dress. . . . The Quakers had 13 threes, equaling the most in the Jerome Allen era, and tied a season low with seven turnovers. . . . Miles Cartwright led Penn in scoring with 23.
