Crews have repaired downed wires that halted service on SEPTA's Paoli/Thorndale Regional Rail Line and on Amtrak's Harriburg route.
The first SEPTA train (#531) to Malvern left Market East at 12:40 p.m., the agency said. The first train from Thorndale to Center City (#562) was slated to leave Thorndale at 1:10 p.m.
Service was halted around 10:30 a.m. after a pantograph on a train got caught in the wires near Devon Station, pulling down the power lines.
