Amile Jefferson, Friends' Central
In 27 games, The Inquirer's all-Southeastern Pennsylvania player of the year averaged 19.9 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.7 blocks, and 1.5 assists. For his career, Jefferson totaled 1,569 points, 839 rebounds, and 189 blocks. This season, the 6-foot-8 senior led the Phoenix to a 22-5 record and their fourth straight Pennsylvania Independent Schools Tournament crown. A McDonald's All-American, he is considering North Carolina State, Duke, Kentucky, Ohio State, and Villanova.
Rondae Jefferson, Chester
In fueling the Clippers to a 32-0 record and their second straight PIAA Class AAAA state championship, the 6-foot-7 junior swingman averaged 12.1 points, 9.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.7 blocks, and 2.6 steals. Jefferson, a Division I recruit who notched 14 double-doubles, collected a school-record 21 rebounds in Chester's 61-53 triumph over Lower Merion in the District 1 final. He averaged 11.9 points in the district and state playoffs.
