Amile Jefferson, Friends' Central

In 27 games, The Inquirer's all-Southeastern Pennsylvania player of the year averaged 19.9 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.7 blocks, and 1.5 assists. For his career, Jefferson totaled 1,569 points, 839 rebounds, and 189 blocks. This season, the 6-foot-8 senior led the Phoenix to a 22-5 record and their fourth straight Pennsylvania Independent Schools Tournament crown. A McDonald's All-American, he is considering North Carolina State, Duke, Kentucky, Ohio State, and Villanova.

Rondae Jefferson, Chester

In fueling the Clippers to a 32-0 record and their second straight PIAA Class AAAA state championship, the 6-foot-7 junior swingman averaged 12.1 points, 9.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.7 blocks, and 2.6 steals. Jefferson, a Division I recruit who notched 14 double-doubles, collected a school-record 21 rebounds in Chester's 61-53 triumph over Lower Merion in the District 1 final. He averaged 11.9 points in the district and state playoffs.

Savon Goodman, Constitution

A high-flying small forward who thrives in transition, Goodman sparked the Generals to a 23-9 record, the Public League championship, and their first PIAA Class A state title. The 6-foot-6 senior, coming over from Academy of the New Church, averaged 25.8 points, 14.2 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 steals. Goodman, a 1,903-point career scorer, listed Missouri, Kansas, Memphis, Temple, and UCLA among his college possibilities.

Maurice Watson, Boys' Latin

A terrific penetrator and open-court scorer, Watson finished his career with 2,356 points, the seventh-best all-time mark in Southeastern Pennsylvania. This season, the 5-foot-10, 160-pound guard averaged 21.8 points and 7.5 assists in leading the Warriors to a 25-7 record and the PIAA Class AAA state semifinals. On Jan. 26, Watson, ticketed for Boston University, became just the fourth player in the Public League's 112-year history to eclipse 2,000 career points.

Daniel Ochefu, Westtown

The 6-foot-10, 240-pound senior center, a strong rebounder and shot-blocker, averaged 14 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 blocks in sparking the Moose to a 21-10 mark and their first Friends Schools League title since 1985-86. In the league final, a 55-46 triumph over Academy of the New Church at Haverford College, Ochefu delivered 15 points, 16 boards (six on offense), and 4 blocks. For his career, the Villanova recruit scored 1,734 points.
