A 33-year-old woman whose body was found in a burning car in North Philadelphia had been shot multiple times, police said today.
She was identified this morning as Tanesha Carr, of the 5300 block of West Oxford Street in West Philadelphia's Wynnefield neighborhood.
Firefighters responding to a car fire on the 4500 block of North Third Street in Feltonville about 2:20 a.m. found Carr's charred body in the passenger seat of the 2002 Chrysler Sebring. Police also discovered two bullet holes in the passenger door.
