The Kingsway boys' lacrosse team victimized its second ranked opponent in three days on Wednesday, when goalie Conor Beers came through with 23 saves to allow the host Dragons take down No. 7 Seneca, 16-14, in an Olympic Conference match.

Ryan Davidson's four goals topped the Kingsway attack, which also received hat tricks from Tim Kemner and Mark St. Pierre. Tyler Shulte had a game-high six goals for the Golden Eagles.

On Monday, Kingsway pulled off a 10-9 win at No. 9 Lenape.

In another Olympic Conference match, second-ranked Shawnee received scoring from 10 players, including a hat trick by Eric Meyer and Owen Demmerly's two goals and three assists, and goalie Chris Egan faced just two shots in blanking host Winslow Township, 17-0.

Nonleague. Goalie Joe Gigantiello stopped 10 shots in posting the shutout, and Steve Pontrello keyed the attack with four goals and two assists to lead top-ranked St. Augustine to a 6-0 nonleague win at Montclair.

Baseball

Anthony Esposito worked a two-out walk in the bottom of the sixth inning, stole second and scored on John Griffin's humpback line drive to centerfield, making host Kingsway a 6-5 winner over Clearview in a see-saw Tri-County Royal Conference battle.

Griffin, a senior shortstop, atoned for two errors in the field by going 4 for 4 at the plate.

Also in the Tri-County:

Mike Shawaryn struck out seven in pitching a five-inning no-hitter, and Giovanni Gussen singled, doubled and knocked in four runs to highlight Gloucester Catholic's 10-0 home win over Woodstown.

Olympic. Paschal Petrongolo batted 3 for 3, scored three runs and drove in six to power Paul VI to a 17-7 victory at Seneca.

Cape-Atlantic. A.J. Scibilia's two-run single in the bottom of the sixth rallied host Hammonton past Vineland, 2-1.

New Jersey Vocational. Gabriel DelValle homered twice in going 3 for 3 with seven RBIs as host Pennsauken Tech picked up its second tournament win with ease, 18-2, over Camden County Tech.

Golf
