City Councilman Kenyatta Johnson and state Sen. Anthony Williams will announce a $5,000 reward Monday in the shooting death of Clarice Douglas, 45, an innocent bystander caught in the cross-fire Friday outside her Grays Ferry home.
They will speak at a 10 a.m. news conference at the 17th Police District, 20th and Federal streets.
Cops have said Douglas was killed following a shoot-out between two men who were running along Corlies Street near Dickinson about 2:30 p.m. Friday.
One alleged shooter, Hakeem Burley, 23, of Snyder Avenue near 27th Street in South Philly, was injured and taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Homicide Sgt. Tim Cooney said Sunday that Burley is now charged with firearms offenses, but not with the murder. The case is still being investigated.
