Cabrini College, Radnor, has promoted Gene Castellano to vice president for advancement and external relations, from vice president for marketing and communications. He had been director of marketing and communications at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and is a former associate editor at the Philadelphia Daily News and former director of advertising, planning and development at Philadelphia Newspapers Inc., the onetime publisher of The Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News.

Brian D. Doerner has been named co-practice leader of the Life Sciences/Technology Group at Ballard Spahr L.L.P.

Comcast Corp., Philadelphia, has named D’Arcy F. Rudnay chief communications officer of the company. Rudnay will remain responsible for all strategic communications for Comcast and will retain her title of senior vice president of corporate communications.

Turner Investments, Berwyn, has named the following principals of the employee-owned firm: Larry Bragg, operations coordinator; Terry Davis, front desk manager; Paul Foster, global head of consultant relations and senior managing director; Carolyn Patton, global head of client relationships and senior managing director, and Sorin Roibu, global security analyst.

New York-Bonhams, the international fine-art auction house, has appointed Margaret K. Tierney as the company’s representative for Pennsylvania, Delaware and southern New Jersey. Tierney had worked for two other international auction houses in Philadelphia, where she was responsible for all auction activity including appraisals, sales and acquisitions in Pennsylvania and surrounding areas.

Catholic Health East, Newtown Square, has promoted Michael C. Hemsley to executive vice president for legal services and general counsel, from vice president for legal services and general counsel.

The Philadelphia Orchestra Association has hired Ryan Fleur as executive vice president for orchestra advancement and Matthew Loden as executive vice president for institutional advancement. Fleur had been the president and CEO of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. Loden had been vice president and general manager of the Aspen Music Festival and School.

Univest Capital Inc., a Souderton subsidiary of Univest Corp. of Pennsylvania, a full-service financial institution, has hired Stuart P. Goddard as vice president of outside sales. He was vice president of sales and marketing at Baytree National Bank and Trust Co.

Thomas Realty Partners, Philadelphia, has promoted Morgan C. Murray to director of leasing. Murray previously was marketing manager and senior leasing manager.

Salveson Stetson Group, a Philadelphia retained executive-search firm working with clients on identifying talent for senior executive-level positions, has hired Donna DeHart as vice president. DeHart had been vice president for Advantage Building & Facility Services.

Hawthorn, a provider of investment-consulting, wealth-management and fiduciary services, has hired David J. Bloom as a senior relationship manager for the Philadelphia office. He served clients in a similar capacity at J.P. Morgan’s Private Wealth Management Group.

Aon Hewitt, the global human-resources business of Aon Corp., has named Virginia Bowden market leader for the Philadelphia region. She had been an account director at Towers Watson.

Darren A. Spielman has been named executive director of the 26-year-old nonprofit Philadelphia Education Fund. He was first vice president of workforce development at the Philadelphia Youth Network.

Chris Wichser has been promoted to mid-Atlantic area director for the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, from president of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization Philadelphia Chapter.

The Protocall Group of staffing companies, Cherry Hill, has hired Katie Martino as lead IT recruiter. She had been corporate recruiter at Campus Recruiter. Carli Gannone has been hired as a client development specialist. Gannone had been a business consultant.

Michael Regan has been hired as chief information officer at Lower Bucks Hospital, Bristol. He had been vice president, implementations and support, for the Philadelphia region of Siemens Healthcare, Malvern.
