Senior righthander Kevin Baxter hurled his third consecutive shutout, and junior shortstop Christian Adorno stole four bases in St. Augustine's 3-0 home win over Millville.
Gio Casiano belted a three-run homer in the first inning, and Dylan Martello scored the winner in the bottom of the eighth on an overthrow, lifting host Egg Harbor Township over Hammonton, 8-7.
Steve Zellers opened Ocean City's second inning with a home run and Justin Healey added a bases-loaded triple later in the frame, putting the host Red Raiders on track for a 5-1 defeat of Lower Cape May. Burlington County. Pete Perez struck out 16 and lowered his ERA to 0.92 by shutting out Riverside on two hits, and the junior joined Anthony Coniglio and Vinnie Vasapoli in going deep in Burlington City's 8-0 home win.
Joey Frey's two-run double ignited a five-run seventh inning, as Moorestown pulled out a 7-2 triumph at Burlington Township.
Nonleague. Tom Jakubowski walked, stole second and third, and scored the tying run on a throwing error, and Harry Sturgis followed with a game-winning single that scored Chris Dellaquilla, as West Deptford rallied in the bottom of the seventh to upend Penns Grove, 4-3.
