Hart's mark of 186-10 was more than 15 feet farther than Angel Rosario of Bay Shore's second place mark of 171-3. Both finishes bettered the previous meet record of 160-7 set in 2007 by Tyrone Jones of Perkiomen Valley.
In the girls' events, Central Bucks South and Downingtown East used great performances to set meet records in the relays. C.B. South finished the 4x100 in 49.34 seconds and Downingtown East captured the 4x800 in 9:15.72.
In the 100 hurdles, Eliana Yankelev of Lower Merion finished in 14.71 seconds to edge Kristen Bass of Conestoga Valley by 32-tenths of a second.
Lady Rock Invitational. Mary Newell of Villa Joseph Marie captured the shot put with a mark of 39 feet at the girls' meet at Council Rock North.
Freshman Marissa Sheva of Pennridge held off her older sister, Caitlyn, to capture the 1,600 meters. Marissa finished in 4:56.53, while Caitlyn, a junior, came in at 5:07.22 for second place.
Jamie Tramel of Truman won both the 200 meters (25.07 seconds) and the 100 meters (12.34).
Alex Wheatley of Council Rock South captured the 800 meters with ease as she finished in 2:22.64. Central Bucks East's Jacqueline Patterson finished in 2:34.49 for second place.
Rob Thomas Invitational. Bensalem's Vince Carsillo used a razor-thin margin to capture the 300 hurdles at Neshaminy. He finished in 40.67, just 55-tenths of a second ahead of Erich Keyser of Upper Perkiomen.
Corey Smith of Central Bucks West finished first in the pole vault with a mark of 14-6. Quakertown's James Harcher captured second with a mark of 13-0.
William Tennent's Horace Spencer easily won the high jump with a mark of 6-2, which was four inches better than the second-place mark of Drew Sauritch of Council Rock North. The 6-foot-8 Spencer also plays basketball for the Panthers and is one of the top freshmen in the area.
Lower Merion Invitational. North Penn had a good showing at the girls' field events as the Maidens captured three events. Kailah Holmes won the long jump (15-5), Sydnee Jacques won the triple jump (31-71/2), and Christine Johnson won the shot put (34-101/2).
