Kelly Drive today and Saturday. Kelly Dri,ve between Strawberry Mansion and Fountain Green Drives, will be off-limits to cars till 8 p.m. Saturday because of the Dad Vail Regatta, the nation’s biggest collegiate rowing competition. Traffic heading toward Center City is being detoured south up the Strawberry Mansion Drive ramp to Reservoir Drive, south to Fountain Green Drive, then west back to Kelly, according to police. Outbound traffic will be routed east on Fountain Green Drive to Reservoir Drive, north to Strawberry Mansion, then north on the Strawberry Mansion Drive ramp back to Kelly. Parking is available at remote lots, with shuttle buses running all day to and from the races, according to the Dad Vail website.
South Phillytonight. The Phillies play the San Diego Padres at 7:05 p.m. at Citizens Bank Park. The game’s sold out, but standing room tickets for evening games typically go on sale at 4 p.m. at the at the First Base Gate ticket windows. The sold-out Red Hot Chili Peppers concert is at 8 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Center. Crowds at the XFinity Live entertainment complex, at the site of the old Spectrum, should add to the madness.
Parkway, University City Sunday morning. Every Mother’s Day, the Race for the Cure raises lots of money to fight breast cancer, and it’s not too late to take part or to donate. Online registration is closed, but people can still register at the Sheraton, 17th and Race Streets, today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., as well as from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. Sunday at Eakins Oval.

SEPTA says buses will be detoured from 7:30 a.m. to about noon near the Art Museum and JFK Boulevard, including Routes 2, 7, 9, 17, 27, 31, 32, 33, 38, 43, 44, 48, 124 and 125.
The run/walk, scheduled to start at 8:15 a.m., will head east on the Parkway to 16th Street, east on Arch to 15th, south to JFK Boulevard, west to 20th, south to Market, west across the Schulykill to 32d, north to Powelton Avenue, east to 31st, north to Spring Garden, and east back to Eakins Oval, according to police.
By 11:30 a.m., all roads should reopen, except for Eakins Oval, which should reopen by 1 p.m., according to police.
At times, drivers using the Vine Street Expressway (I-676) will be unable to exit at 22d Street or and 23d Street.
