5 Keys to Victory over the Celtics

1. RUN

The 76ers were at their best against Chicago in Game 2, when they got out on the break. The Celtics like to set their defense, but they won't be able to if the Sixers can get them on their heels early and often.

2. SLOW RONDO'S ROLL

Point guard Rajon Rondo has established himself as Boston's best all-around player. He's good for a triple-double on almost any night in the postseason. The Sixers have to slow him down - maybe try to trap him more - to make sure he doesn't control the tempo. He is the best player on either team.

3. GET TO THE LINE

The Sixers reversed a trend against Chicago by getting to the free-throw line and making their shots. Boston is good defensively but not nearly as good as Chicago. The Sixers should be able to find driving lanes against Boston that were not available against the Bulls.

4. SCORE

We all saw what the Sixers do when they score 109 points (Game 2 victory) and when they score just 69 (Game 5 loss). They are at their best when a team tries to run with them. Boston might make that mistake early in the series.

5. GET HAWES INVOLVED

After starting the first two games of the last series with a total of seven points and seven rebounds, Hawes came to life in Games 3-5, averaging 18 points and 10 rebounds. He has to be engaged because when he is, the Sixers are just a better team offensively.
