Duane Morris partner J. Scott Kramer was named chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Gaming Law Committee for the forthcoming bar year. Kramer is the co-chair of the firm’s Gaming Industry Group in Philadelphia and also serves on the firm’s Contingent Fee and Professional Standards Committees.
Maria E. Harris, an associate at Martin Banks, Philadelphia, was appointed to the board of the Friends of Farmworkers, a nonprofit organization working to improve the living and working conditions of indigent farmworkers, mushroom workers, food processing workers, and workers from immigrant and migrant communities.
Joseph D. Mancano, partner in the law firm of Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick and Raspanti L.L.P., was elected president of the Saint Thomas More Society of Philadelphia for a two-year term. The society is an association of Catholic lawyers, judges and law professors organized to promote the ideals of St. Thomas More and the practice of high ethical principles in the legal profession. Mancano is vice chair of the firm’s White Collar Criminal Defense Group and a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Group.
Terri Clark was appointed a member of the Sexuality and Aging Consortium of Widener University. The consortium is an educational outreach initiative whose members are dedicated to enhancing the sexual health, knowledge and well-being of people in mid and later life. Clark is the prevention services coordinator for ActionAIDS in Philadelphia.
The Indochinese-American Council named Kenneth Wong vice chairman of its board. Wong is the president of CIG Asia Ltd., a national property and casualty insurance brokerage firm in Philadelphia.
Rudolph Vincent was elected treasurer of its board. Vincent has worked for the Wall Street Journal and currently for LexisNexis.
Leonard Bernstein, chair of Reed Smith L.L.P.’s Financial Services Regulatory Group in Philadelphia, was appointed president of the Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey chapter of Friends of the Israel Defense Forces.
Carlo J. Silvesti, a certified public accountant and assistant professor of accounting at Gwynedd-Mercy College, was elected president of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants for the 2012-2013 fiscal year.

Mary F. Campagnolo was installed as the 220th president of the Medical Society of New Jersey, Lawrenceville, a professional organization established in 1766. Campagnolo practices family medicine at Virtua Lumberton Family Physicians in Lumberton and is chief of the Department of Family Medicine at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly.
The Association for Corporate Growth, a Philadelphia global organization focused on driving middle-market growth, elected Duane Morris partner Richard Jaffe to its 2012—2013 global board of directors. Jaffe, co-head of the firm’s Private Equity Group, will serve a three-year term.
Main Line Broadcasting, West Conshohocken, a middle-market radio company operating 19 stations in Louisville, Dayton, Richmond, and Hagerstown, Md., appointed Lee S. Simonson executive chairman. He is president of Simonson Associates, a strategic advisory firm to radio companies.
Mark A. Monaco was installed as the 101st president of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, a statewide organization for physicians holding the doctor of osteopathic medicine degree. Monaco is a board-certified physician at Delaware County Family Practice Associates in Broomall. He is also a staff member at Bryn Mawr Hospital and Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill.
